When North Texas local, Lori Landes’, favorite retail stores Fred Segal and Kitson closed, she saw a gap in the ever-growing Dallas retail space: fashions from the West Coast. The number of women entrepreneurs has grown 58 percent in the past five years and Landes proudly joined the booming community by launching her very own retail shop. Landes’ boutique, West Coast Vibes, is located in Snyder Plaza and puts California fashions on any Dallasite’s map. Dallas fashion, there’s a new neighbor on the block.

Lori grew up on a farm and used to sell pumpkins on her front porch. Her family still owns the 25 acre farm that hosts birthdays, hayrides and events for the community.
